Abstract
The nose occupies the most prominent position of the face, a position that make it vulnerable to loss and deformity by trauma. The degree of loss and deformity usually dictate the type and quantity of tissue required for correction, and for the most satisfactory reconstruction the surgeon must consider all of the alternatives to reach the end point with the fewest number of procedures in the most predictable manner and leave the least amount of donor deformity.

Of course, the tissues closest to the nose will give the best result with the most natural appearance, if they are of good quality and satisfactory in quantity.

We had experienced 5 cases of subtotal nasal reconstruction with median forehead flap, scalping flap and abdominal flap, so we could report them with reviews of the relating references.
